When steaming potatoes in the Steam oven for mashed potatoes, cut the potatoes into small chunks and place them in a solid container with a little water and salt. Allow 30 - 35 minutes for them to cook or until soft enough to mash.
For salads, heat the oven in the Steam Mode, place the potatoes in the perforated pan and slide into the oven. Set the timer for 20 minutes and check for doneness, before removing. Set aside to cool them.
